Happy 4th yall!
We had a wonderful day at home. Tommy helped work on prepping for the hardscaping around the pool and I stayed inside working around the house with Ella for the first part of the day. Then we relaxed and grilled out and had our first swim in our new pool! The water was perfect, which shows how hot its been, because we started filling the pool last Friday. We ended the evening driving around looking at our fields and were able to watch Caraway's fireworks from the back of our property. Doesn't sound like anything special, but it was a perfect day!
Back to her favorite pasttime of playing with the window handles!
This picture shows her doing her squinched nose thing she does. It is so cute and she does it randomly throughout the day when she is anywhere near excited!
She noticed my basket of magazines. There is so much I love about this pic: her chunky hand reaching out, her chubby baby belly, her hair holding in that big bow so perfectly. I love, love, love her!
And because I get a little carried away with the camera, of course, there are more pics of the same swimsuit!
Ella and I are getting ready to get in the pool. We actually got in right before this with her clothes on...we just went to check it out and she got excited so I just let her get all the way in, then we went to change because her diaper got sooo huge, it is very absorbent apparently!
I hope everyone else had a wonderful holiday! And I am very thankful to my friends and family that make the sacrifice to serve our country so we can continue this wonderful life.
