A sweet baby girl makes life sweeter!

This has been a week of more work days than usual. I usually work three days a week at Jackson's and this week I am working 5 days at Jackson's and 2 days, the weekend, at Wal-Mart. Call me crazy!! Since Ella had the chicken pox, Grandma couldn't keep Ella because she is helping with the twins, so Ella went to work with me yesterday. She did great. She got a nap from 11:15am-12:45pm but barely got her afternoon nap, so she was ready for bed at 7pm. These few pics are of her playing in the living room while I was cooking dinner. I got this cute, fun quilt at Target. I love it! and this baby girl!! Aunt Stephanie gave Ella this toy and she loves it! I knew when she started trying to pull up and stand a few months ago that this toy would be perfect for her, and I was right. I almost didn't let her use it because I thought such a big plastic toy was unnecessary, but boy was I wrong! So thanks Aunt Steph and Emma and Allison!

Our morning routine right now consists of Tommy going to get Ella out of her crib when she wakes up and he brings her to me to feed her and then he loves on her and does her 'stretches' every morning, everyone is all smiles, one of my favorite times of the day! Then Ella goes in her pink bouncy toy in the living room and we turn on her baby channel on tv while we are getting ready until she starts to get fussy. She then ends the morning watching us finish getting ready in the bathroom, while she plays with toys and trys to pull up on our legs.

Movies, Baseball, and Chicken Pox

Ella's first time to the movies. Last Thursday, since there were no ballgames, we let Ty decide what we would do for the evening. He chose dinner and a movie, Madagascar 3. We had a great time and Ella did wonderful! She slept through most of it, because the movie started at 7:45pm.

Ella and her daddy at Ty's last game in Blytheville

You can kind of see the end results of this new face she makes. She scrunches her nose up and perses her lips and sniffs in and out her nose...so cute!

First place team. Way to go Ty!! He has been playing first base and pitching some this season.

These next pictures are after I let Ella fall off the bed and land on her head...thankfully no injury or even bump to show for it...just a scared mama! She loves to pull up on the entertainment center, or anything for that matter, and play with the handle or look at the tv while she's standing.

Look at my 2 bottom teeth!

This is one of Ella's favorite things to do right now. I set her down in her room and she crawls quickly, sometimes with a squeal of delight, over to the window where she pulls up and drools all over the window handle. She just sucks/chews/drools on the handle and looks out the window, double fun! There is always a puddle of "sugar" when I pick her up!

She looks so grown up here!

This series of pictures of her feet show how she stands up. She pulls to standing starting out on the tops of her feet then slowly twists them around as she is pulling up. Oftentimes she makes a little grunt in her effort to stand. So cute! Looks like it would hurt!

We noticed a rash on Ella last Tuesday and we figured out it was chicken pox on Friday. It has been a really mild case with no fever and just mild pox thankfully! You can barely see these on her leg and in some of the pics above you can see the few she has on her face.

I am starting this blog to give my far-away family and friends a glimpse into my daily life. It would be nice to live closer to all my loved ones, but this will have to suffice. I'm excited to document a little of our lives too so I will have something sort of like a scrapbook to look back on. I will probably go back a little bit and play catchup...we shall see.

When I got home from work Thursday, I fed Ella then decided to play dress up and take pictures of my baby girl! I don't know who had more fun...I enjoyed the pics and she enjoyed trying to put anything within reach into her mouth! This is in a field next to our house. I love the wildflowers!

 Yum that weed tastes delicious!

This girl loves her daddy! She still only says "momma" but when you say "daddy's here" she lights up!

I'm pretty sure he loves her too!

While I was taking care of Ella, Tommy was on the tractor mowing, after a long day at work, what a good man I married.
