I am back...again! Maybe reguarly but no promises! I am enjoying my little family all the time. Still taking a million pics, but have slacked off on dslr pics since I upgraded to an iphone a few months ago. I am trying to get my real camera out more often again. Ella is 16 months old and Ty is 10.


Ty thinks he lost his last baby tooth; he's getting so big. He has a paper towel in his mouth because he had just pulled his tooth. You can see in their eyes that they love each other...makes me happy to watch them interact.

I did a little Valentine's craft and made Ella and her nieces fun headbands. I love having a girl!

Another Valentine's craft I did was some heart garland I put in Ella's room and I made some for the living room. Ella loved looking at it and trying to kick the hearts!

I'm Baaack! Happy Halloween Week!

I've got some catching up on here to do...but in the meantime Happy Halloween!! Meet the sweetest, most adorabe ladybug you will ever lay eyes on! We did a trial run on her costume to make sure she tolerated it alright, she was just happy to be outside.

 



Ella didn't stand still for a second while we were outside. She is walking and picking up rocks, leaves, dirt, stepping off the walkways onto the grass. She has a blast outside.

 

A Cool Treat on a Hot Summer Day

I wanted a popsicle, and if Ella sees me eat or drink anything, she wants some too, so Ella got to try her first popsicle. It was a lime flavored Edy's fruit bar, so kind of tart. Ella's faces were so funny! She would cycle through trying it, then make a funny face, then have a big smile and get all excited for more. I tried to capture it in the pictures...

Teething

Notice something in common in all of these pictures? ...she's chewing on anything she can get her hands on. Ella started teething real bad on Monday evening and it continued til Wednesday.

I cuddled her and rocked her and sang to her and held her as much as she wanted. I wanted to make that sweet girl smile!

If you look real close you can see the culprit of her unhappiness. Her top two teeth decided to come in together, so now she has four teeth.

Daddy also tried to help his baby girl feel better. She loves to be held by her daddy. 

Maybe her teeth will give her a little break before the next ones decide to come in.

Let's Go Swimming

They poured the concrete around the pool last Thursday, and we left right after work to go to Biloxi for Ty's regional ball tournament, so we weren't able to enjoy our new pool patio until this week. Monday after work Ella and I got in the pool and she loved it as always. Anytime the pool is in sight she kicks her legs and smiles all excited.

9 month check-up

Ella turned 9 months on Friday the 13th. She had her pediatrician visit yesterday. No shots!!   I have had 2 wonderful days off with her. She is such a joy!

Stats: height 28 inches (63%), weight 17lb 14 oz (30%). She has picked up the pace on her height finally.

I love the sweet baby chub!! She barely has enough.  The baby-food-on-the-go packs are wonderful for almost mess free baby food eating.  I love to bring them to the ballpark for Ty's games and pretty much anywhere we aren't going to be sitting down to eat. She can feed herself and barely gets it anywhere. This brand is "Ella's Kitchen" which makes me like it even more! Get it...Ella...Ella's Kitchen!

Notice how she is keeping her foot elevated. She does that every now and then. I think it is so cute! Pretty much everything she does is cute to me though!!

Yes I took her by myself. So to get a pic with me in it, I awkwardly crouched and set the self timer. If the nurse would have walked in I'm sure she would have thought I was pretty goofy looking! Not the best pic of either of us, oh well.

Back home enjoying the rest of my day off. They came and prepped to pour the concrete around our pool!! Ready for some backyard fun in the sun!

Wednesday I was back in Jonesboro to meet up with Ashley. We did a little shopping and a little business.
